Building Management

In Building Management I, students obtain the knowledge and skills to perform the upkeep of commercial and public buildings and grounds through hands-on training in cleaning operations, building repairs, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. Students completing this program will build or repair residential structures, using a variety of materials and tools. This course is designed for students wanting to explore different construction fields over a one-year period. There will be two sections of this course in the morning, following the odd/even schedule, and available for students based on recommendations by the school counselors. The afternoon section will meet every day and open to all students.

Mission

Massanutten Technical Center will provide high school and adult students with the skills, knowledge, and industry-based experiences necessary to attain success in career and community.
